The Mobile Apps Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) applies to your use of the websites and mobile device applications (collectively, “Apps”) of Peach State Bank & Trust (the “Bank”) to access the services of the Bank (“Services”). The Policy describes how information is collected by and through websites, mobile applications, and online interfaces that are owned, operated, or controlled by the Bank, including this website, and how that information may be used and shared. The Policy applies regardless of whether you are using a desktop computer, laptop, smart phone, electronic tablet, or other electronic device. For purposes of this Policy, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the Bank. The terms “you,” “your,” and “yours” refer to any natural person who accesses or uses an App for personal, family, household or business purposes. By using or accessing any App, you confirm your agreement to the terms of this Policy.
THE TYPES OF INFORMATION THE BANK COLLECTS IN ITS APPS
We may access personal information while you use the Service such as your phone number, home address or email address. We will use this contact information to alert you about Service-related events or actions that require your attention. If you grant permission to use phone information, we will use the phone number to pre-populate forms that expect a personal phone number for contacting you. If you grant permission to use your device’s location, we will use the data when checking for nearby branch and ATM locations. If you grant permission to access photos, media or other files stored on your device, the service will use that information to add an image to a transaction, to attach a document to a conversation, and add a photo to your profile. If you grant permission to use a camera, the service will use it when taking a picture to add an image to a transaction or to capture images of a check that is being deposited or to add a photo to your profile.
Our privacy practices regarding your personal information can be found in our privacy policy located above. If you are a subscriber of Business Online Banking services, business-to-business exceptions in certain privacy laws may apply to your information. Our online banking service provider serves as a processor who acts as controllers of your personal information and are primarily responsible for handling such requests. They will cooperate with any privacy rights requests received from us. If you use the Service to make bill payments or engage in transactions with other companies, those companies should also have a privacy policy that addresses the use of your personal information and your privacy rights.

You acknowledge that Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to the App. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty will be solely governed by this Agreement and any law applicable to us as provider of the App. You acknowledge that Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims of you or any third party relating to the App or your possession and/or use of the App, including, but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation; and all such claims are governed solely by this Agreement and any law applicable to us as provider of the Service. You acknowledge that, in the event of any third-party claim that the App or your possession and use of that App infringes that third party’s intellectual property rights, our service provider, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim to the extent required by this Agreement. You and we acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple’s subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement as relates to your license of the App and compliance with the terms and rules of the Apple App Store, and that, upon your acceptance of the terms and conditions of this Agreement, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this Agreement as relates to your license of the App against you as a third-party beneficiary. Safeguarding Your Information
Recognizing that no physical security system is incapable of penetration, it is the policy of Peach State Bank and Trust to be in full compliance with the requirements of the Bank Protection Act. Further, it is the bank’s desire to adopt such additional security measures as may be recommended or desired which, in the opinion of the Board of Directors, will enhance the cost-benefit ratio of such additional measures.
At Peach State Bank & Trust, the security of customer information is a priority. We are strongly committed to the safety and confidentiality of your records. Every day, unscrupulous individuals are busy developing new scams targeting the unsuspecting public. One of the best ways to avoid fraud is to become an educated consumer.
- Watch out for copycat Web sites that deliberately use a name or Web address very similar to, but not the same as the real one. The intent is to lure you into clicking through to their Web site and giving out your personal information, such as a bank account number, credit card number or Online Banking login information.
- Always use your pre-established links to access Web sites and avoid clicking on links in unsolicited emails. If you ever receive a suspicious e-mail representing itself as Peach State Bank & Trust, please forward the message in its entirety to customersupport@peachstatebank.com.
- Ensure that your own personal computer has updated anti-virus and firewall protections. Apply security patches for all of your programs and operating systems regularly.
- Passwords should be unique to you and changed regularly. Do not use birthdays or other numbers or words that may be easy for others to guess. Never write down your password or give it to another person.
- Monitor your account activity frequently using our free Online Internet Banking services.
- Sign up for free Online Banking and enroll in eStatements to avoid having your paper statement sitting in an unsecure mailbox where it could be compromised.
- Set up free Balance Alerts through Online Banking to be notified via e-mail when there are changes in your expected balance.
- Set up a personalized Pass mark for your Online Banking so that you always know when you are on our secure Web site.
Please keep in mind that we will never ask for or email you requesting your online banking password. We may on occasion call to verify other information regarding your online activity, should we see something odd concerning your login patterns. If you plan to travel and use your Online Banking or debit card, it is very helpful to call us in advance to avoid your account being temporarily disabled for security purposes.
In case of errors or questions about your electronic transfers, call or write us at the telephone number or address listed below, as soon as you can, if you think your statement or receipt is wrong or if you need more information about a transfer listed on the statement or receipt. We must hear from you no later than 60 days after we sent the FIRST statement on which the problem or error appeared.
For personal accounts, limitations on your liability for unauthorized electronic funds transfers and other electronic errors that are covered by Regulation E are explained in the EFT Disclosure Statement in our Consumer Terms and Conditions brochure. However, if you use online services for any business activity, you assume all risk of loss for unauthorized transfers and payments, and you must establish your own internal security procedures for employees you authorize to prevent all unauthorized use by other employees or persons.
